ATLANTA - Presidential candidate Chase Oliver condemns American attacks Friday in Iraq and Syria for the needless attacks on human life and the further destabilization in the Middle East.
"Like clockwork the war machine is starting,” says Oliver, 38, who qualified for the Free and Equal debate on Feb. 29 and Rolling Stone’s “Most Influential Libertarian.” "It will begin with airstrikes, and make no mistake, without a serious change of direction, we are on a path to war.
"My generation is still recovering from the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.”
The United States launched air attacks Friday, Feb. 2, on Iranian sites in Iraq and Syria, under the argument that Iranian-backed Houthi militants killed three American troops last week. The attack included more than 85 targets in seven places.
“I condemn any measures that will bring that pain and trauma onto another generation of Americans. No more war!”

Qualified to join the Free and Equal Debate that includes candidates outside of the Old Parties. Oliver will join five other candidates - including fellow Libertarian Lars Mapstead - on Feb. 29.

Oliver’s national attention grew following his debate with incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock and an empty podium set aside for opponent Herschel Walker. Oliver garnered over 80,000 votes and forced a runoff between the Republican and Democratic candidates.
