Oliver Returns to Florida This Weekend At LPFCon23

AND ASKS FOR NON-PERISHABLE DONATIONS TO HELP VICTIMS OF FT. LAUDERDALE FLOODING

ATLANTA – Libertarian Party presidential candidate Chase Oliver returns to Florida this weekend to appear at the Libertarian Party of Florida Annual Convention, LPFCon23.

“I am very excited to be returning to Florida for the Libertarian Party of Florida convention,” says Oliver, 38. “During my exploratory phase, I visited the state twice, and now I look forward to returning as a candidate for president.”

Oliver will collect non-perishable food items for the flooding victims of Ft. Lauderdale flooding at his table at LPFCon23. Several neighborhoods are still under several inches of water following a record downpour on April 12 and April 13. While Floridians suffered, Gov. Ron DeSantis was campaigning in Ohio and New Hampshire. To date, DeSantis has not toured the neighborhoods yet continues to make campaign stops in other states. "We’re going to let the other two candidates know we’re going to have a Libertarian candidate who rejects their power grab, who rejects using state powers to punish their political opponents, who reject using their political powers to go after the little guy." Oliver was the first openly gay Senate candidate in Georgia, where he garnered over 80,000 votes and forced a runoff between the Republican and Democratic candidates. As a result, he was quoted widely in national print and broadcast media, with Rolling Stone declaring he was the “Most Influential Libertarian.” Oliver is seeking the LP nomination for president in 2024. LPFCon23 will be held April 21 – April 23 at Wyndham Resort Celebration, 3011 Maingate Lane, Kissimmee, FL 34747

Friday, April 21: 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Candidate Q & A Breakout (Main Ballroom)

Saturday, April 22: Noon – 1:30 p.m.: Lunch w/Chase Oliver (Main Ballroom)
