ATLANTA - Louisiana families can choose their schools to a point - charter and private schools abound, yet waiting lists and pricy tuition limit access. Chase Oliver seeks school choice that works for everyday people.
“Parents are the best advocates for their children, not the government in D.C. and certainly not the government anywhere else,” says Oliver, 38, Rolling Stone’s “Most Influential Libertarian” and Libertarian presidential hopeful.
“While parents will treat their kids with unconditional love, the government will treat them like a number on a spreadsheet. We need to be taking power out of the hands of these nameless bureaucrats, and bring power back to each and every individual.”
Oliver will visit Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday, Dec. 11. The candidate will stop in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Thursday, Dec. 7 and make his Texas Swing on Friday through Sunday (Dec. 8-10), visiting Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.

Highlights of the campaign so far:
Oliver became the first third-party presidential candidate invited to speak at the Iowa Political Soapbox at the Iowa State Fair.
Oliver spoke at two panel discussions at FreedomFest in Memphis.
As Georgia’s first openly gay Senate candidate, he spent June marching and meeting with many people at Pride events in Chicago, Atlanta, and Kansas City.
Oliver joined the fight to stop the divisive and unpopular Cop City project in his hometown of Atlanta; joined protests against inhumane tactics that city government used against the homeless in Columbia, South Carolina; and has worked alongside activists in his tour across the country.
Oliver’s national attention grew following his debate with incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock and an empty podium set aside for opponent Herschel Walker. Oliver garnered over 80,000 votes and forced a runoff between the Republican and Democratic candidates.
