ATLANTA - Chase Oliver will work a campaign event in Iowa this Saturday. He hopes to qualify for the state’s presidential debates ahead of the Iowa Caucuses, which kick off the 2024 presidential race.
“I’m looking forward to traveling into Nebraska and across Iowa this weekend. In particular, I’m looking forward to doing the kind of retail politics Iowa is known for, namely meeting regular folks and hearing about the issues that affect them and their families” says Oliver, 37, Rolling Stone’s “Most Influential Libertarian” and Libertarian presidential hopeful. “It is the most valuable feedback one can receive as a candidate for president. I’m ready to travel across the Hawkeye State meeting voters and enjoying all Iowa has to offer.”
Oliver combines his passion for activism at campaign stops and appearances, bringing attention to local and state issues that affect everyday people. He will be making stops in Iowa and Nebraska.

Chase Oliver will greet visitors at the Libertarian Party of Harrison County booth. Oliver will talk to voters and media, and he will join in discussing crucial issues of eminent domain, voting reform, and ballot access.
Oliver spoke at two-panel discussions at FreedomFest last weekend in Memphis. As Georgia’s first openly gay Senate candidate, he spent June marching and meeting with many people at Pride events in Chicago, Atlanta, and Kansas City. Between those appearances, he joined the fight to stop the divisive and unpopular Cop City project in his hometown of Atlanta.
Oliver’s national attention grew following his debate with incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock and an empty podium set aside for opponent Herschel Walker. Oliver garnered over 80,000 votes and forced a runoff between the Republican and Democratic candidates.
